A monkey effortlessly crossed over high wires stretched between two limestone mountains at the Khao Ngu Stone Park, near Ratchaburi, Thailand.

The amazing footage, filmed on November 3, 2018, shows the monkey casually climbing along the powerlines a considerable height above the ground.

The filmer commented: "By the time we spotted the monkey, it was already more than halfway through the walk, and had to rest briefly, before taking off on the final leg of the journey."

Visitors to the park were reportedly divided in their opinion. While some said the wires were installed for promoting adventure sports, others thought they were there for the specific purpose of helping the monkeys to move from one mountain to another.

No other monkeys were spotted on the high wires when this was recorded.

The Khao Ngu Stone Park was previously a limestone quarry, and after its closure, has been promoted as a tourist spot by the government.

Beautiful landscape, waterbodies for boating, an opportunity to spot numerous fireflies late in the evenings, the caves inhibited by monkeys and bats, and the hundreds of monkeys in the sprawling area, comprise the star attractions of the park. It is about 8 km away from Ratchaburi.
