Driver mobbed by dozens of monkeys when he brings out snacks
A driver was mobbed by dozens of monkeys when he brought out snacks.
Vittaya Pinkaew pulled over in his car to share some food with the primates when he saw them in Phuket, Thailand, on March 11.
Footage shows the kind man scooping grains from his bag and tossing them onto the road so that the animals could feast on them.
More macaques emerged from the forest and went into the road to taste the food from the man.
Vittaya said: 'I love to go there with some food for the monkeys. The monkeys are already familiar to me. I normally feed them with peanuts, longan, and rambutan.'
Monkey Hill is a popular tourist attraction in Phuket, Thailand. It's located in the Toh Sae Hill area and features a large population of crab-eating macaques that live semi-wild on the hill slopes. Visitors can purchase bags of food from vendors to feed the monkeys during their visit.
