This is an actual footage of myself, during the first week when I moved to Corby, and it’s filmed on my phone by a friend. It shows my first flair (backflip 180 degree rotation) attempt. Unfortunately I pulled it too hard, causing an over rotation. As a result of such a hard pulls I ended up bouncing with my face on my fist which was holding the handlebars. The pain was so high I had to rush to the hospital. Once I got there I was told my cheekbone was broken, for the second time in 4 months. After a week of rest I was already on my bike, as I didn’t need any surgery. What I’ve learned from this accident is that since that time I’m now riding with a full-face helmet.
