Woman dies in horrifying hospital accident in north India
A woman in north India perished a bizarre and horrifying incident at a hospital on May 15, after reportedly consuming poison and receiving treatment that caused an explosion.
Footage shows the CCTV at Jawalarhal Nehru Medical College in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh state, when the woman, who had been rushed there after consuming poison, began her treatment and inserted a suction pipe in her mouth, triggering an explosion that killed her.
The doctors at the hospital believe that the woman had probably consumed sulphuric acid and when it came into contact with oxygen through the suction pipe it exploded.
The hospital officials said that they would do deeper research on the matter to reveal the exact cause behind the incident. The woman had been identified as Sheela Devi.
