In a horrifying incident, a doctor was mercilessly assaulted by the relatives of a woman who passed away while being treated at a hospital in western India’s Maharashtra.

The incident took place on August 3 in Global Hospital at Nashik’s Ambad Link Road.

According to reports, the woman was admitted to the hospital a few days ago, and her relatives allegedly deposited an amount as security.

When the doctor reportedly failed to answer conclusively about the security deposit, the men vandalized the hospital and assaulted the doctor.

CCTV footage from the hospital shows four men having an argument with the doctor, as the situation escalates and one of them begins to thrash the doctor.

The doctor can be seen requesting the man to stop, however, fails to do so.

After the incident, a case was registered with the local police, three people were arrested by the Ambad police officials.
