The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded the evening of May 23 to a gunshot wound victim in the 700 block of Duff Street, and reports indicate the suspects fled the scene.
Arriving crews located possibly one victim struck by gunfire and unknown number of times.
The suspects -- believed to be 2 or 3 males -- fled the scene in a black sedan.
Shell casings from a reported .45 caliber weapon were located in front of a residence on Duff Street and there are reports the suspect's vehicle possibly struck a house further down the street before continuing on.
The cause of the shooting is unknown at this time and is currently under investigation.
The condition of the victims and suspects is unknown at this time.

The suspects, 2 to 3 hispanic males fled the scene in a black sedan. Shell casings were located in front of a residence at 657 Duff and an RP reported a possible tc at 703 Duff where the suspect vehicle possibly struck the RP's house before continuing on. The cause of the shooting is unknown at this time and is currently under investigation. The weapon used is reported to be a 45 caliber handgun. The condition of the victim/s is unknown at this time.
