A injured tiger was seen running on a Kotdwar road in Ramnagar on Saturday night (7th September) during late night hours around 11:25 PM . Its one of the populated area of Ramnagar . According to Sanjay Negi who is a local said that we saw tiger sitting in the corner as soon he saw us he ran towards the road , he was looking injured . Officials were informed about the tiger and a rescue team was promptly dispatched by the forest department . Ater two hours of rescue operation , he was rescued .According to official “We have rescued the animal. It’s a male of around 7-8 years of age. Doctors have found some injuries in and the big cat is now being treated.”The animal was apparently not able to walk properly due to some problem in its hind limbs. the tiger may belong to any of near forest areas as big cats frequently move between the two given their close proximity .Ramnagar is home to Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) which houses around 250 tigers
