Heavy rain caused flash floods wrecking homes, cars and boats in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on Saturday (28/09) afternoon.

The storm lashed the village of Crovie, sending torrents of muddy water gushing through the streets - battering a parked Mitsubishi 4x4 and breaking through a wooden fence.

Severe weather warnings were issued across Scotland with gale-force winds of up to 45 miles per-hour hitting parts of the country.

The Environment Agency has now warned that Hurricane Lorenzo is approaching the UK and could cause devastation.
