Watch the shocking moment two women suspected of shoplifting get into a fight with shopkeepers at a wig and beauty store in Woolwich, South London.

The footage was posted on Twitter by a witness on Saturday and has 1.5 million views.

The filmer told Newsflare: "They were caught stealing and asked to take out the items.

"At first, they refused but gave back most of the items. The shopkeeper knew they had more in their bags and jackets, and asked for them to take it all out.

"They refused and the shutters were pulled down, and the police were called.

"Then the girls began to panic and argue, asking to be let go. But they wouldn’t open the shutters because they refused to give back what they had stolen.

"The shopkeepers did their best to not hit them but to protect themselves and the shop. Then the shopkeepers managed to calm the girls down until the police arrived."
