Chinese father finds tiny insect in his son's IV drip
A man in southern China's Leshan found an insect in his son's IV drip on December 15.
In the video, the man can be heard shouting at a nurse with the IV drip in his hand.
Later, he showed the insect inside the IV drip to the camera while said: "See, there is an insect. The insect is inside the IV drip."
A nurse said to him: "I think you are a bit emotional now."
"No, I am very emotional, not a little bit!" the man replied. "They injected the polluted drip into my son's body! How could it happen? How many bacterias did it have?"
According to reports, the man spotted the insect after his son was on the IV drip for several minutes.
He called the nurse to remove the IV drip from his son immediately but his son still had red spots which were itchy on his back.
The People's hospital of Leshan issued an announcement to apologise and also said they are willing to take the responsibilities. The case is being investigated.
