This was the moment a Canadian parent wanted to hilariously remove his child's tooth by using the force of a Nerf gun with string attached on December 29.

Footage shows a family gathering where the child has string around her loose tooth and the other end attached to the toy gun.

Attempting to use the force by firing the gun multiple times, the tooth was still holding strong.

After many failed attempts they decide to remove the tooth manually receiving a round of applause from the family for the daughter's bravery.

The filmer mentioned: "Our daughter lost her first tooth.

"We tried to pull it with a Nerf gun.
