Infrared thermometers installed at stations and airport in Wuhan due to deadly coronavirus outbreak

Infrared thermometers have been installed at train stations in Wuhan, central China as well as Wuhan Tianhe International Airport in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

Footage filmed on January 20 shows an infrared thermometer device being used at Hankou railway station to check commuters' temperature.

The device scans the temperature of commuters as they walk past causing minimum disruption.

In total, more than 50 infrared thermometers have been installed at Wuhan airport and various train stations.
