Passenger train in China derails and flips over due to landslide, killing one
A passenger train in southern China derailed and flipped over due to a landslide, killing one.
The aftermath video, shot in the city of Chenzhou in Hunan Province on March 30, shows the No. T179 train lying on its side with smoke rising into the air and passengers climbing out of the carriages.
The first carriage caught fire and the second to sixth carriage tipped over after the train crashed into debris caused by a landslide.
According to reports, the train had 654 passengers and 37 railway workers on board when the incident happened
One worker was killed, while 127 people were injured and sent to hospital.
