An adorable family of gorillas plays together and redefines the term "jungle gym" in Musanze, Rwanda.

Play is important to develop strength, coordination and social skills in young gorillas as in human children. These infant mountain gorillas have a natural jungle gym under a canopy of bamboo, where they chase, swing and twirl on vines under the watchful guard of the silverback leader of the family.
This is the Susa Group, one of Rwanda's biggest gorilla groups open to tourists, at about 10,000ft/3,000m on the southern slopes of Mount Karisimbi.
Note: in March 2020, tourism was suspended as a precaution against the Covid-19 pandemic, which could be catastrophic if it entered the population of any species of ape.
