30-tons of glass buried a car with a family of three inside after falling from a transport truck in southern China.

The dramatic CCTV clip, shot in the city of Zhuzhou in Hunan Province on March 30, shows panes of glass suddenly dropping from a transport truck when it was turning a corner and landing on a car.

In another video, the car was seen buried under the glass and police officers were rescuing people trapped inside.

They took a several-month-old baby out of the car window first, before helping the baby's mum and dad to get out of the car.

Firefighters and paramedics arrived on-site later and the traffic went back to normal after one-hour of cleaning work.

Fortunately, the family of three were not injured seriously. The case is being investigated.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
