This is the bizarre moment funeral home workers in the Philippines were seen carrying an empty coffin while dancing to warn people of what might happen if they break the quarantine policy during the coronavirus pandemic.

Onlooker Jepoy Francisco said that the death-care workers wanted to give a lighthearted warning to people to stay at home until the pandemic is finally controlled.

He said: "Many people in our area still break the curfew and go out even during the lockdown. I hope they understand that the rules were placed to protect everyone."

Jepoy took the video on his way to the grocery store in Taguig City on April 5.

As of March 11, the Philippines has seen 4,428 confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 so far and 247 deaths, the majority of which were reported to be in the country's capital region Metro Manila where Taguig City is.
