Timelapse shows Lyrid meteor shower illuminate sky over Glastonbury
Glastonbury Tor, Somerset, UK. 21st / 22nd April 2020. Time-lapse footage of the night sky and the Lyrid meteor shower above the Glastonbury Tor in Somerset. The image was produced with 423 separate 25 second exposures taken over a period of nearly 4 hours. Several young people decided to congregate at the Tor during the night playing loud dance music. The green hue of the Tor is the result of someone in Glastonbury town pointing a laser light at the tower.
