Dramatic footage captured a car rolling over multiple times after the distracted driver smashed into the central reservation in southern China's Chongqing on May 6.

In the clip, provided by local media with permission, a white car was seen suddenly smashing into the central reservation and flipping over several times.

According to reports, the driver named Tang was distracted during driving, causing the car losing control.

Since Tang and his child both wore seatbelts, they only suffered minor injuries.

5月6号下午，在重庆市大足区石刻大道上，一部白色小车在行驶途中，突然撞向道路中央的隔离护栏，车辆在空中翻转四圈后才摔落在地，所幸事故并未造成人员伤亡。
据了解，当天下午2点50分左右，小轿车驾驶员汤某从大足区万古镇驾车带小孩到大足区三甲医院就医，从高速路大足东下道口下道后往城区方向行驶。
行至石刻大道时，汤某一时分神，没有控制好车辆，轿车突然左偏直接撞上道路中央的隔离栏。
由于车速较快、撞击力度大，车辆在空中翻转四圈后才摔落在地，随着“砰”的一声巨响，车辆轮胎、零件散得七零八落，现场约20米隔离栏被撞坏，轿车基本报废，现场一片狼藉。
民警勘查现场后，到医院向驾驶员汤某了解情况，汤某和孩子虽仅受轻微伤，但仍后怕不已。二人得以生还，全靠安全带。（视频由重庆台提供）
