Matador 3 crane barge being towed past Sheerness, UK
The Matador 3 crane barge was seen being towed past Sheerness in Kent on its way to Thamesport today (May 18).
Matador 3 is the biggest floating sheerlegs in the Netherlands.
A floating sheerleg is a floating water vessel with a crane built on shear legs. Unlike other types of crane vessel, it is not capable of rotating its crane independently of its hull.
Matador 3 a maximum lifting capability of 1800 tons.
