The terrifying video, filmed in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province on June 12, shows the powerful winds pushing the crane along its rails before falling down and crashing into the sea.
The operator reportedly fell into the sea while trying to escape and fainted. He was rescued and sent to hospital for treatment. Fortunately, he revived and was not in life-threatening condition.
According to reports, the speed of the wind was over 55.3mph to 63.4mph when the incident happened and the strong wind lasted for around two minutes.
