This is the tense confrontation in Sussex, England when a dog owner is accused of leaving his dog inside a car on the hot summer day on July 29.

"The owner, who has been reported to the police under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, then assaulted me. The police were called, not by me but a lady bystander. The policewoman informed me he would most definitely be reported for the crime of animal cruelty. Though I am not pursuing the "assault and battery", a crime number has been issued," the filmer, Alun, told Newsflare.

"The staff at the Star Inn at Norman's Bay, East Sussex were most unhelpful and almost forgiving of the gentleman who assaulted me and left the dog in the car," Alun continued.
