A tyre crashed into a car after falling off a truck in eastern China.

The dashcam video, filmed in the city of Jiaxing in Zhejiang Province on August 12, shows a tyre suddenly falling off a a truck, rolling along a highway and rear-ending a car.

According to reports, the car driver named Tang spotted the tyre and attempted to overtake the truck but was blocked by another car in front.

Tang tried to stop the truck driver after the incident happened but the truck driver did not notice the incident and ignored him. Tang then reported to the police.

The truck driver named Li did not know the incident until he checked his vehicle after driving down the highway already.

After being coordinated by the traffic police, Li compensated the repair fee to Tang.

事情发生在8月12日16时37分许，汤先生在G1522常台高速马家浜附近行驶，发现前方一辆挂车左后排有个轮胎异常，随时可能脱落。

当时他想从超车道超过这辆半挂车，但因前方有车辆，没有超车成功。就在这时，半挂车左后第二排外挡轮胎突然一下子脱落了，因为惯性，轮胎快速往前滚。

飞奔的轮胎，直接撞到了汤先生轿车左侧后保险杠，又一歪一扭地滚向右侧路肩，最后靠在边护栏上“休息”。
自己的车子被一只轮胎追尾了，汤先生只能开车去追半挂车，并示意车辆靠边停车，但半挂车司机并不知道发生了什么事，压根没有理会。

无奈，汤先生下高速报了警。

高速交警嘉兴支队二大队的交警在调取了汤先生车辆的行车记录仪后，锁定了掉落轮胎的半挂车司机，与他取得了电话联系。

不过，司机李某说，他根本不知道轮胎掉了，在下高速检查后才发现车子少了个轮胎，但也不知道是什么时候掉的。

因为路程比较远，李某不愿意回来处理，后经交警协调，由他以转账方式赔偿汤先生的车辆损失修理费1600元。（视频由嘉兴台提供）
