Firefighters freed a 13-year-old boy from an artificial hill after he became trapped inside in northern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Tongliao in Inner Mongolia on August 24, shows firemen using a hydraulic push rod to try to tear down the cement surface on the artificial hill and then using a pair of cutting pliers to remove the rebars.

According to reports, the teen boy climbed onto the artificial hill to play alone. However, he slipped into a gap and got trapped inside when he was about to climb down.

The boy was rescued successfully, reports said.

8月24日，内蒙古通辽市霍林郭勒市一名13岁的男孩儿爬到假山顶上玩耍时，不慎卡在缝隙中不能动弹，男孩呼救近1个小时后，终于有路过的市民发现了他，并及时拨打119报警电话求助。
当日下午16时，霍林郭勒市滨河路消防救援站的消防员赶到镜湖广场时看到，在一个高约10米的假山顶部位置，一位身穿白色半袖的男孩儿整个身体被卡在假山石缝中动弹不得。由于天气炎热，被困男孩已严重脱水，随时可能出现昏迷，消防员立即拿来矿泉水给男孩喂水。经过查看，消防员发现男孩臀部位置被卡在两个假山的石缝中。了解情况后，消防员找来防护服遮住男孩身体，防止发生二次伤害。随后利用液压顶杆对假山外部水泥层进行破拆，再用剪切钳对水泥层内部的钢筋进行切除，待男孩被卡位置松动后，消防指战员联手将男孩救出，并采用交接传递方式将男孩送至安全地带，男孩成功脱离危险。
记者了解到，被困男孩是一名13岁的小学生，玩耍时独自攀爬到了假山顶部，在下山过程中，他从假山顶部的一处夹缝滑下，不慎被卡住，无奈之下只能大声呼喊救命，因假山位置距离广场人员密集处较远，男孩在呼救近1个小时后才被路过的市民发现。（视频由内蒙古台提供 背景解说静音）
