Indo-Tibetan Border Police-run hospital in northern India's New Delhi has been holding yoga sessions for all COVID-19 patients admitted to the facility.

Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre and Hospital in Chhatarpur has a capacity of over 10,000 beds with over 1,000 doctors deployed for the treatment of COVID-19 positive patients.

Visuals shot on September 20 show the patients taking yoga classes while seated on their beds inside the facility.

A healthcare worker can be seen wearing a personal protective equipment (PPE) kit and guiding the class.  The session is held everyday for the patients early morning at 6 AM.

The world's largest Covid-19 care centre formally started taking patients from July 5 after the successful trial run by ITBP. It has treated and cured over 2388 patients successfully, ranging from a 17-day-old infant to a 78-year-old person successfully.

The facility has been created on an emergency basis by the South Delhi District Administration with the support of the Ministry of Home Affairs in a record time of 10 days.
