Vibrating water in Florida drainage ditch turns out to be thousands of tadpoles

This was the moment a Florida college student inspected a drainage ditch that they thought was moving due to the wind but instead got a bizarre surprise.

Filmed by Ezra Wilkes on September 21, the vibrating and moving water was filled with thousands of tadpoles all bundled together in a tight space.

Only being able to find out after putting his hand in, Wilkes said online: "I thought the movement was just wind blowing over the water."

He later told Newsflare: "This was taken at my campus, in the drainage ditch outside my dorm.

"A few of my classmates and I were working on moving the tadpoles to a nearby pond, as clearly there was not enough room for all of them in the drain."
