A litter of kittens and their mother were rescued from a car engine after becoming trapped under the vehicle's hood.

The clip, filmed in Melaka, Malaysia on September 25 shows a man discovering the cats in his car before rescuing them.

After rescuing the mother, the man reached down into the gaps between the engine and other mechanical parts with a broom and hauled the two tiny kittens to safety.

When he placed them on the ground, their mother immediately came down from the hood and carried them away, presumably to find a safer place to hide them.

A man from Malaysia heard squeaking coming from under the hood of his car and when he opened it up found two tiny newborn kittens trapped there with its mum.

He tried to expel the mother cat out from the car with broom and hopefully she can bring down with the kittens but unsuccessful. Therefore with sign of the mother, he reached inside the gaps between the engine and other mechanical parts with a broom and hauled the two adorable felines to safety. The reason rescuer can't reach the kittens by using hand is because afraid that the mother cat would bite him.
