A passenger was thrown out of a truck after a collision on a highway in southern China.

In the CCTV video, filmed in the city of Changde in Hunan Province on September 21, a red truck rear-ended a smaller truck which suddenly braked on a highway as it missed the entrance to the parking zone.

A man sitting on the passenger's seat in the red truck was then thrown out of the vehicle through the front windscreen.

Fortunately, the red truck braked in time and did not hit the passenger.

The passenger was sent to hospital and was not seriously injured. The case is under further investigation.

9月21日18时35分，G55二广高速常德段（北往南）1934km石门桥停车区入口处，一辆湘J号牌的小型货车错过停车区入口后突然停车。
约3秒后，后方一辆未保持安全车距的鲁M牌大型货车制动不及，追尾湘J牌小型货车。
事故发生瞬间，坐在鲁M牌大型货车副驾驶的盖某因未系安全带与车辆挡风玻璃发生撞击，最终撞碎挡风玻璃被甩出车外。万幸的是该货车随后及时刹停，没有对被甩出车外的盖某再造成伤害。两车上的其他人员在事故中均无大碍。
常德高速警察迅速赶至现场，做好安全防护，并联同医疗救护人员迅速将盖某送医，目前，盖某已无大碍。事故正在进一步调查处理中。（视频由湖南台提供）
