Chinese firefighters rescue paraglider hanging from hotel roof after strong winds blew him towards the building
Firefighters rescued a paraglider hanging from the roof of a hotel after strong winds blew him towards the building in eastern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Weihai in Shandong Province on October 14, shows a man hanging from the top of a hotel by his paraglider and firefighters trying to rescue him.
A fireman lowered down to approach the man and tied the safety ropes on him before other firefighters lifted the man up together.
After around 20 minutes, the man was rescued successfully and sent to hospital for a checkup.
According to reports, the paraglider lost control because of the strong winds and hung on the outer wall of a hotel.
