Pro-democracy demonstrators trying to deliver a letter about their grievances addressed to the country's king were met by water cannons deployed by police on Sunday evening, November 8, near the Grand Palace in Bangkok.

The demonstrators met earlier around the Democracy Monument before marching toward the Grand Palace.
