An adorable video has emerged of an orphaned bear cub learning how to play at a rescue centre in Cambodia.

According to her carers, the sun bear cub named ‘Heidi’ (so nicknamed because she was always hiding when she first arrived) “transformed from a very scared bear upon her arrival, to playing with her pals in the pool”.

She was bought to a charity called Free the Bears at Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre after she had been displaced form her habitat by the building of a hydroelectric dam.
