Toshifumi Kuwabara in Aichi, Japan uses his scooter to whizz around picking up litter he comes across.

Kuwabara rides around on his scooter which has a basket attached to the front where any litter he picks up is dumped.

The eco-warrior said: "I used to clean my house every day because there was a lot of garbage in front of my house.

"The range of cleaning gradually expanded, and I was wondering if there was a method that could be done efficiently over a wide area, so I came up with this method.

"This activity is called pickup skating.

"My goal is to increase the number of sponsors so that I can play as much as I want with my current friends every day."

"I think the reason why garbage is falling in the city is that people's hearts are rough. I don't think that just picking up trash will solve the problem.

"We believe that we can change the world by doing what we want to do, having pure fun, and creating a group of people who live in a straightforward manner."
