Thirsty simian tries to open bottle in northern India
A thirsty simian was spotted chewing down the cap of a plastic water bottle in an attempt to open it and drink water in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh on December 12.
The incident took place in the state capital of Lucknow at Charbagh Metro Station.
A video of the incident shows a monkey holding disposable plastic water bottle in its hands. It sinks its teeth into the cap of the bottle unknown to the harmful nature of plastic.
The thirsty animal keeps trying to open the cap but is unsuccessful in doing so.
It keeps itself occupied with the inanimate object for a few minutes before being exhausted by its unstimulating mould. After a few tries, it then leaves the bottle alone having given up on trying to open it to drink water from it.
