A beautiful video has emerged of a man playing with sand in the Sahara desert in Morocco.

The footage, captured earlier this month, shows the man making mesmerising patterns by digging his hands into the sand dunes.

"Looking at the perfect sand dunes in the Sahara desert, my brother and me couldn't resist and went playing in the sand... Digging in the sand it looked like a timelapse of the forming of the Grand Canyon" the filmer later wrote online.
