Young climate activist invents solar-powered device that converts air into water
Licypriya Kangujam, a nine-year-old environmental activist from India, has invented a small device that converts air into water using solar energy.
Kangujam has named the device SUKIFU-2 and claims that it can be used in any geographical location.
In this clip from Thursday (January 7), Kangujam demonstrates how her device can generate around 150 ml of water in one hour.
Kangujam hopes her invention will be useful in helping to solve the global water crisis.
