This is the scary moment a baby snake crawled on a car's windshield in Thailand.

Student Wanwisa Kamolrat, 21, said she parked the car at a temple in Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand.

After the religious ceremony, she came out and discovered the creature creeping into her vehicle. Concerned for her own safety, Wanwisa notified the rescued team immediately.

However, when the team arrived, the reptile was nowhere to be found. They all assumed that the snake had slithered into the car engine and that the creature would eventually die.

She saw the rescue team off and started the vehicle but when Wanwisa was about to leave the spot, she saw the tiny snake popping its head up on her wind shield.

She said: "Three guys came to the scene as if they were capturing some giant creature. But it was so small.''

The tiny snake eventually left the car.
