Three people were killed and two were injured in a multi-car accident in San Jacinto, California, on Thursday (February 11).

The accident, which involved three vehicles, happened at the intersection with Seventh Street and the Ramona Expressway.

Footage of the aftermath shows destroyed vehicles and emergency crews on scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

On 02/11/21 at 8:19 pm Cal Fire and Riverside County Sheriff Deputies responded to reports of a major 5 vehicle accident at the intersection with 7th Street and Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto, Riverside County, California. Arriving crews located 5 cars involved in the crash with 3 vehicles smashed together in the middle of the roadway. The passenger of a white car was declared deceased on scene by paramedics. According to witnesses on scene there are possibly 3 fatalities. An infant was possibly in one of the vehicles when the crash occurred. Its unknown at this time if the infant was one of the fatal victims. A total of at least 3 patients were transported with moderate to major injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation and not many details are available at this point.
