A special task force stormed the headquarters of Georgia's opposition party to arrest leader Nika Melia on February 22.

Footage shows the incident where members of Melia's party have barricaded a door shut with objects found in their building, with additional shots from the other side where police are attempting to break down the doors.

Police are able to eventually arrest Melia and frogmarch him out of the building.

The arrest and police presence met opposition where small scuffles were seen breaking out.

Melia is accused by a Tbilisi court of organising "mass violence" in 2019 during anti-government protests.
