Thousands of spiders in a very small space on spider island Banda Neira, Indonesia
A special feature of this island, are the spiders. From time to time, native giant spiders appear at the roadside, which differ clearly in size from our European ones.
The highlight is a whole colony of spiders, which weave their webs over several trees. The result is a real "internet" of "intranets" with hundreds, probably thousands of oversized spiders in it. For every spider phobic an absolute challenge. But also our mouth remains open at this sight. We had never seen anything like this in all our travels.
