Indonesian police carried out controlled explosions after finding bomb materials in Jakarta on March 29.

Bomb materials were found after a nearby police raid in light of a suspected suicide bombing that left two dead in Makassar on March 28.

The Police Headquarters Gegana Team detonated a ready-to-use bomb at the raid location on Jalan Raya Condet Number 1, RT 005 / RW 003, Bale Kambang Village, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta on Monday (29/3/2021).
Raw materials of two bombs were also detonated by the police at the Batu Ampar field, Condet, not far from the location of the raid.
The raids were carried out almost simultaneously with suspected terrorists in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency.
The National Police was carrying out a large-scale operation after the bomb incident at the Makassar Cathedral Church on Sunday. In this incident, 2 people were killed, the suspected suicide bombers.
