An amazing video has emerged of a pack of wild dogs baiting an elephant in the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The footage, captured by a visitor to the park late last month, shows the pack surrounding the huge animal in an ambitious group attack.

Writing online about the experience, the filmer said "These audacious wild dogs were trying to take down an elephant. Wild dogs are highly intelligent hunters, which attempt to tire the prey out, but elephants are generally too large for them to take down. However these brave and ambitious dogs didn't know their limits."
