Hyperlapse footage captures 10.7 mile walk in a rural area of Leeds this morning (4th April)
The walk starts & finishes on Wakefield Road in the East Leeds village of Swillington, before heading along the Leeds Country Way footpaths, which takes you on a journey through farmland towards and into Temple Newsam Estate which is owned by Leeds City Council and is a well known tourist hotspot for families and exercising. From Temple Newsam House, the journey continues to the newly opened Skelton Lake Services next to the M1 Motorway at Junction 45 before continuing to the Aire & Calder Navigation and past Fishpond Lock & Woodlesford Lock in Woodlesford. The walk leaves the canal paths and onto Aberford & Wakefield Road and turning off onto the Coach Road taking you through Swillington Park. Following the Coach Road to the end and joining the nearby Fleakingley footpath which crosses over Astley Lane in Swillington and takes you to the tiny village of Little Preston before finally arriving back in Swillington.

The footage was captured over the course of 2 hours & 45 minutes with a total distance of 17.61km (10.7 miles)
