This heroic scene shows a tractor driver who was trapped under his vehicle being saved by Indian villagers on March 27 in Davanagere, India.

The driver, Yograj of Ingalagundi village in Harihara taluk of Karnataka state, India, was reportedly driving his tractor in high speeds when he lost control.

The tractor plowed into a paddy field and overturned.

Pinned underneath, Yograj cried for help attracting the attention of local villagers who immediately went to assist him.

They hailed a JCB machine which was nearby and moved the tractor to free him.

Eyewitnesses said it took 30 minutes to extricate Yograj, who survived miraculously as the ground was soft with water.
