The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a man wanted in a homicide investigation.

On Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 5:40 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at 35 Trehorne Drive.

It is reported that:

- at approximately 5:30 p.m., two men were in a vehicle driving northbound on Scarlett Road

- another vehicle drove up beside them and the occupants began to shoot at the men

- the victims' vehicle was struck several times by bullets

Habil Abdilahi Hassan, 21, of Toronto, died as result of his injuries.

Antwan Triston James, 18, of Toronto, was identified as a suspect and is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for:

1. First-Degree Murder

2. Attempted Murder

He is considered armed and dangerous.

The investigation is currently ongoing and officers are actively working to identify a second suspect.

Suspect #2 is described as a man, black, 20-25 years, wearing light coloured jeans and a light blue surgical mask.

Investigators continue to urge witnesses or anyone who was in the area, at the time of the shooting, to contact them.
