The Eta Aquarid meteor shower of 2021 peaked this week. Here’s how it looked from the Swiss Alps
Milky Way timelapse and many satellites flying - and also 2 "shooting stars" .
Very good clear sky visibility in the swiss Alps in Valais canton, Switzerland, allowed to see a good view of the Milky Way in the pre-dawn hours, with many many satellites criss-crossing the sky... and also two green meteors caught. Given the local time and direction they are probably from the faintly active Eta Lyrid meteor shower which peaked tonight.
filmed in timelapse with a Canon EOS R6 and Sigma 20mm lens
first the original footage, then slowed down and halted on the two meteors ( one long, one shorter ).
