Dizzying footage shows a rollercoaster fan set a new world record after he rode the Nemesis at Alton Towers 64 times in six hours – despite suffering from VERTIGO.

Sean Evans, 29, broke the world record for rollercoaster riding after braving the terrifying 3.5 G-force ride.

The YouTuber and blogger averaged ten rides an hour without stopping for water, food or toilet breaks.

Incredibly, Sean suffers from vertigo which means he can’t drive a car, but he managed to conquer his condition to set a new world record.

He beat the previous rollercoaster record which was set by Shawn Sanbrooke who rode the 32m high Nemesis a dizzying 63 times in August 2019.

Video of Sean’s record ride last Tuesday (11/5) shows him clocking up lap after lap in a rainy, almost deserted theme park.

Sean, from Stoke-on-Trent, said: “I got there at 9.30am before rides opened at 10am and rode Nemesis continuously until 4pm.

“As the ride closed I was on 63 goes and staff let me stay on for a victory lap.

“Apart from that I didn’t get any special treatment, fast track or queue jumps.

“It was a fun but very intense experience. "
