This dog waited patiently as a boater managed to fish his favourite stick out from a river in Bath, UK.

Footage from May 31 shows the pooch sitting beside the river watching his stick slowly drift further from him.

A woman on a boat then plucks the stick out of the water and throws it back to land.

The dog then frantically picks up the stick and happily runs off.

While walking along the canal with narrow boats, I've noticed that a dog is desperately trying to get his favorite stick back that has fallen into the river. As the stream moves the stick down the river, dog follows it until friendly people rescue the stick and return it to the dog. Dog appears to be very pleased to get his stick back.
