Rare noctilucent clouds spotted in Kent, UK
Footage of rare noctilucent clouds seen in the late evening sky in Sheerness, Kent on 9 June.
Noctilucent clouds or night shining clouds exist only in the upper atmosphere of Earth and appear a ghostly white/light blue colour and seem like they're out of this world.
They consist of ice crystals and are only visible for a brief period during astronomical twilight and are a summer phenomenon in the UK.
