The Indonesian government is now diverting 100% of industrial oxygen for health and has prepared a worst-case scenario if the transmission case increases to 40 thousand or more for oxygen supply, medicine, hospitals and other needs.

Responding to the scarcity of oxygen supply in the field, the government asked the industry to maximize the supply of oxygen for handling Covid-19. Manufacturers are said to be ready to shift all of their oxygen production for medical purposes with an estimated production capacity of 1,400-1,700 tons of oxygen per day
