Two workers rescued a 13-year-old boy trapped in a burning flat on the seventh floor of a building in southern China.

The video, shot in the city of Suining in Sichuan Province on July 12, shows a tower crane with two workers approaching the burning flat on the seventh floor to rescue a teenager trapped inside.

After the workers smashed the security bars and the window, they took the boy out of the flat and the crane then brought them back to the ground.

The boy's back and left leg were burnt and was sent to hospital for treatment. He is not in a life-threatening condition.

7月12日上午8:50左右，四川遂宁射洪市沱牌镇沱园小区，一栋居民楼7楼顶楼突发火灾。烈焰熊熊中，一名13岁男孩被困高层楼房家中。在这十万火急的关键时刻，有两名建筑工人坐着塔吊成功破窗救人。闻讯赶来的消防队员，也迅速扑灭了大火。

据火灾现场目击者张仁斌介绍，发生火灾的房屋距他家不到50米，隔窗相望。女主人在沱牌镇大乐购超市上班，家有两名小孩。所幸，火灾发生时，只有13岁的男孩在家睡觉，9岁女孩从家里跑出来在外玩耍。

不知何故，卧室起火，火势十分凶猛，迅速在屋里蔓延开来，浓烟滚滚，火苗喷出窗外一丈多远。男孩打不开防盗门，就爬上窗台的防盗窗，用手使劲掰护栏钢条，却无济于事，急得哇哇大哭。

在距火灾现场20米外，有一个建筑工地，工作人员正在紧张施工。发现火情后，2名建筑工人郭兵、舒远银在工地负责人的指挥下，坐在塔吊长臂下运送建材的铁斗中，冒着生命危险，用铁锤使劲砸断防盗窗钢棍，救出了这名浑身伤痕累累的少年。

几分钟后，3辆消防车赶到现场，将火扑灭。

多名目击者告诉记者，失火的居民家中没有大人，起火后孩子站在窗口的防盗网上躲避，工地师傅看见孩子在窗口躲火，就决定用塔吊去救人，前后花了十几分钟。两名师傅最后砸开了防盗网，将孩子救下，孩子背部、左腿有烧伤。
