The holy festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated with great reverence and pomp at Sai Temple, Kaithal today. The Sai temple was lavishly decorated with flowers and lights on the occasion of Guru Purnima.The chief priest of the Sai temple, Pandit Vikas Lekhwar and Pandir Rajiv Sharma, performed the consecration of Sai Baba with milk, curd, honey, Ganga water, brought by the devotees of Sai Baba and made 56 bhog and the devotees offered new clothes, fruits to Sai Baba. By offering flowers and sweets, wished for happiness and prosperity. In the morning Sukhdev Sardana, a senior member of Sai Mandir Sanstha, said that in view of the constant devotion of devotees in Sai temple of Kaithal, after coming to Sai temple, it seems that we have come to the temple in Sai Baba of Shirdi.after the consecration and worship of Sai Baba, langar prasad of hard rice was distributed.
